In 2009 ended the transitional period of five years which placed restrictions on the "Law 219/1995 parag.17 "about the purchase of property by foreign nationals. These in fact were required to provide Company 'or obtain a residence permit. The Czech government has proposed the abolition of the entire paragrafo17. Accordingly, under the law, property can be purchased by foreigners with the czech citizenship, foreigners with a residence permit from the EU member states and foreigners with permanent residence in the Czech Republic
