Jenna Haze In The Shower

the discovery of Southern Tasmania ...

'm back in my home ... Italy ...
I arrived only yesterday afternoon and probably realize I still have to be here (tonight I woke up in panic because I could not figure out where I was ... they are no longer accustomed to sleep in the dark !!)...
I've never been good at expressing my emotions in words, so I'll spare you the various sentiment and impressions from returning ...
Only one thing ...
So many people have told me that after such an experience is very difficult to reintegrate into their old life ... Some make it, some leave, others go in ahead keeping his illness ...
I do not know yet how it will be for me ... xò in all these months, I always knew that my life is in Italy, close to all my affections, even though Australia is a wonderful country that has given me so much ... Moreover I do not have an old life when having to replace before you leave because I finished university and not I left nothing outstanding ... So in a sense, I have a new life that awaits me ...
When I left Sydney two days ago I finished, along with the suitcase, a big chapter of my life ... and it was not easy ... but I know it is going to open another, perhaps a little 'less exciting and adventurous, but certainly full of news ...
And if I do not like it I will try to take me by the Lonely Planet! =)
That said, I'll tell what I left behind ... This post
'dedicated to Vito and Bent ... because when they go to Tasmania will not have signed to organize the trip ...!! =)

The flight from Melbourne to Hobart and 'really lasted very little ... When the stewardess woke me up 'cause I had to wear a seat belt were already' flying over Tasmania and for a moment I thought of not being 'in Australia: it was more' red earth that I saw below me, but fields, forests and mountains ... Welcome to Tasmania!
A welcome at the airport of Hobart there was a cute beagle sniffing, one by one, all hand luggage in search of ... drugs ??... Absolutely not! ... fruit!
This phobia of Australian fruit and 'really curious. After ten months I have yet to figure it out! At the border with Western Australia there is' a quarantine station with both inspection of the vehicle ... the border between Queensland and Northern Territory and Northern Territory and South Australia from there 's just a sign that warns you that if they catch you to bring fruits and vegetables across the border that will make you a fine scaravolta ... between Queensland and New South Wales but they do not care (or maybe we missed the sign)! The most 'curious, however, remains a sign of South Australia and Victoria: "no potato or potato farm equipment" ... What will those of Victoria against the potatoes? Mah ..
Anyway, I close this parenthesis ortoculturale and return to Hobart ...
Luckily my zainone and 'just arrived and I found without much difficulty' which was the shuttle bus take the landlord llo. In twenty minutes we are in town ', just after passing the impressive Tasman Bridge, which besides being quite a bit' long, also has a curious shape of arc ...

Hobart and I 'loved it! He looks calm and relaxed I like ...
And 'different from all the other cities' in Australia. In the center have not yet arrived in the skyscrapers of the big multinationals and consequently there are still many historic buildings built in sandstone . And then located in a magnificent location, the harbor and the bay to the south and the imposing and majestic Mt Wellington in the north.
E 'on the sea but I do not know why', I immediately had the impression of being in a mountain town! Sara 'by crisp air ... or will 'we see the snow on top of the mountains ... or maybe you are the wooden houses with sloping roof in the suburbs that I have been reminded of the Trentino ...
Since I arrived at the hostel too early to check in, I got to give a map and I jumped in the city '... I shall digress
Bookings: The Pickled Frog is really nice and welcoming, with spacious common rooms with giant television, pool table and bar that sells $ 3 beers Tasmania (the Cascade Brewery in Hobart is!) And the rooms are not bad .. the only problem is the kitchen, which falls a bit 'pieces (for what I cook is more than enough, but I know that someone has other needs ... but I do not do names beginning with B and ends with ENT! =))
back to my arrival in the city I had now way of knowing that the weather in Hobart is more changeable than that of Melbourne ... and Melbourne can boast of having four seasons in one day! After ten minutes of sunshine when I had time to do a couple of photos in Salamanca Place, it started to rain ... so, given that Virgin Blue does not provide breakfast on the plane, I take refuge in a barettino really nice and quiet where they were listening to the CD of Fred Hammond and I was given a surprisingly good cappuccino. While I I waited for him to finish the rain I have studied all the LP to evaluate what to do in four days I had available in Taz.

After an hour or so did not feel the rain beating on the roof, so I went out and did a tour at Battery Point, Hobart's old quarter, I had lunch with a sushi roll in the center, and then, as it was coming the second shower of the day, I went to the Tasman Museum. I was not going to see him because I knew I'd find the usual stuffed animals and the history of the arrival of British prisoners in Tasmania of which I had already read and reread ... but since out it was raining ... In the end it was not too bad and I got excited by the Antarctic section, which told of the first expeditions to the South Pole and collected photographs and testimonies of people were there ...
Before returning to the hostel I went to do some 'expense. Note
negative about Hobart: to reach the nearest supermarket in the middle you have to walk at least twenty minutes!

A fly in the hostel I met my roommates: Two British girls out of their minds that they were desperately trying to call the airline to be anticipating the return flight because it is too quiet and Hobart "we like busy and party !"... goes well ... is always nice to know like-minded people ... S =
However at the end must have found something to do because they are returned after three in the morning, making a mess of course absurd!
The next morning I tried to prepare for the ascent to Mt Wellington, where I read that you have a magnificent view of the city.
If you do not own a car, there are two ways to get there: Take a shuttle bus that brings you $ 25 on top and then takes you back in town (the stuff of holiday-makers!), Or catch a public bus to the village that lies beneath the mountain and then walk along a path that requires 4 to 5 hours with return ...
Obviously I did not want to spend $ 25 to go up to two photos and back then, taking advantage of the beautiful sunny day, I took in borrowed at the front desk of the hostel a map of the area (without which I would probably still there!), I put my walking shoes and went to take the bus ...
It 'been a pretty challenging hike, because I was not accustomed to trails so steep (in Oz do not have the Alps and Apennines !)... But I have made really enjoyed a lot ... just me, away from everyone and a whole, in the silence of the mountains ...
The problem is that now when I began to see the top neighbor starts to be snow on the track! Although the city can be seen that there was snow on top, but I just thought they were residues of winter ... But there were quite a few 'inches ... S =

I did not know whether to continue or go back. On the one hand I was afraid of slipping and hurting myself, it does not want to go down now that I was almost at the top. Luckily I met a school of 7 or 8 small children in athletic shoes that went down with no problem while the teacher did to the animals that they had to guess ... I then continued without fear (if the kids do ...!).
Well ... it is absolutely worth the effort, because the view from up there all the hard work pays off ...

I fled to eat something within an observatory, which certainly has been built to allow people to stay there for more than a minute, as the wind seems to want to take you away and it seems that there are always at least 10 degrees less than Hobart city ...

Unfortunately, I took home a souvenir not too nice ... When I returned to the hostel and I took off my jeans I had a slimy black thing attached to your leg! A leech ... that schifooooo !!!!!!!
the evening I had two new people in the room: a Scottish girl, Beth, really nice and a gentleman who lives in Tasmania on an island near in Hobart. He takes the ferry every day to go to work in the city, but when I finish working late to lose the last ferry back, so often stops in quell'ostello! He told us a lot of interesting things about Tasmania and after dinner I went with him and Beth to see Hobart by night from the revolving restaurant on the top floor of a hotel on the beach ... so I took the opportunity to do some x 'photos ...

The next morning I got up early because I had booked a tour to the famous Wineglass Bay, a beach that seems to be in the top 10 of the most beautiful in the world ...
Unfortunately the day was not the best, because There was overcast all day, but the tour has allowed me to see some 'more of the island and to dispel some myths. In particular, Tasmania is not green and lush as it is believed, in fact, only 30% of the territory is covered by rainforest, while the rest are what they call "dry eucalypt forest" that, due to overheating overall, is spreading more and more ... Wineglass
If it is really like in the postcards is not to say you know, because that day was very gray ...
And the shape of a "glass of wine" I do not understand ... S =

Given the weather conditions We saved the descent to the beach and we went to see other sights in the Freycinet National Park ...

the guardians of the park ...

beaches with pink granite rocks

the first land that we meet in this direction is Antarctica

friendly bay

And finally, the last day in Hobart I dedicated to those two things you absolutely can not miss the picturesque
Saturday market in Salamanca Place ... where they sell just about anything ...

... and eat fish and chips at the port, where there are boats that will cook freshly caught fish ... really delicious!

And so I also welcomed the Tasmanian ...

Dents In Head Joint Flute

a bit 'in Melbourne ...

My stay in Melbourne is coming to an end ... and hardly sorry ...
Melbourne 'a city' technology that has so much to offer and I would like to have chance 'to live as I lived Sydney ...
Anyway, this time traveling solo is serving me very much ... x x is the English myself ...
I definitely understand that it is not meant to be alone. I really need to talk and share experiences with other people! Although most 'times I thought seriously of leaving the group and continue my journey alone (and sometimes not' been easy being the only girl to travel with three boys!), Inside me I knew that I would never have the courage to do it! My trip would not have been the same from one ... I would not have gone where I came ... and I would not be what they are now! So 'are more' than happy to have had the chance 'to share this experience with fantistica my friends (and the capital "A" is not 'a case!).
Now I'm living the last few weeks alone as a test myself. When Dani and
'party, I felt very lonely and, if I could, I would take the first flight to Milan. I thought my time here was over ... I thought I had no more 'reason to stay in Australia ... But this additional experience is giving me so much! The trip
reserves surprises ... I met new people, that made me company during these weeks, and I embarked on another adventure: I have a flight to Hobart on Wednesday (Tasmania!) ... 'cause I'm not going to be waiting on my return home without doing anything! =)
In Sydney I met a couple of people who were at the end of their journey (and mine was about to start!). I remember listening to their stories fascinated, fantasizing about the day where I would be in place ... Now there are! And I feel really proud of myself when I talk to young Australians and I realize that I've seen a lot more 'Australia than they have done to them! =)
conclude with a bit 'of photos of Melbourne ...
